Our representatives, Mr. Ankit Chaturvedi (Managing Director and Lead – Asia Practice) and Mr. Varun Dave shared their experiences on financing new energy generation technologies as part of the DEG South East Asia Client Forum held in Bangkok on 7th and 8th September 2023.
Ankit and Varun spoke about the current developments in renewable energy financing and also shared Synergy’s experience in helping raise financing for technologies such as floating solar, battery storage, and Green Hydrogen / Ammonia projects.
Ankit was part of the panel that discussed challenges and opportunities in new energy generation technologies in Southeast Asia and the lessons which can be learnt from other parts of the world.
Varun was a speaker at the event and discussed Synergy’s experiences in financing of new renewable energy and storage technologies, their relevance in the Southeast Asian context, and critical factors for their adoption.
Synergy was also part of the equity roundtable, which brought together the private sector, advisors, and lenders on a common forum to share learnings and lessons from project development in Southeast Asia.
This forum was organized by DEG and saw participation from private developers, regional investors, and regional and international financial institutions.
