Synergy is excited to welcome Rajat Kapoor as Managing Director – Oil & Gas and Petrochemicals

Rajat will be expanding Synergy Consulting’s Oil & Gas and Petrochemicals related business.

Rajat is a finance and commercial executive with strong leadership experience, having led multidisciplinary teams in delivering consulting and acquisition projects across the energy and Oil & Gas space, for over 20 years.

Principal lead for deal origination and execution of assignments in Consulting & Advisory, Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) and Investment Banking & Private Equity businesses, Rajat comes with a core expertise of mobilizing diverse teams operating across global markets. He has led and developed innovative commercial strategies for clients as a commercial lead in transformation and critical energy related projects in Asia, Europe and the Middle East.

In his recent role as head of the Oil & Gas practice for a boutique consulting and advisory practice, he has worked on geopolitically strategic mega oil infrastructure projects, and was instrumental in setting out new country entry plans for one of the largest oil companies in the world. His work as commercial lead with an LSE listed firm led to the acquisition, and thereafter successful integration, of a mega downstream asset in the UK, as well as multibillion dollar acquisitions of 8 upstream Oil & Gas blocks in India, Africa, SE Asia and Australia.
