Synergy Consulting Inc. is honored and delighted to support TCQ Power as the Financial Advisor to achieve the Financial Close for the 108 MW Western Area Power Generation Project, Sierra Leone.
The project, which has been under development since 2012, marks a significant milestone as Sierra Leone’s first gas-to-power plant and a seminal development for the country. The project is expected to double Sierra Leone’s power generation capacity and will address a critical need for access to reliable energy infrastructure.
Upon the completion of financial close, construction of the plant will begin and is expected to be commissioned in 2027 and has a PPA tenor of 22 years.
