Synergy Consulting, Inc. is honored to support Enel Green Power South Africa in the successful signing of two long-term Power Purchase Agreements (“PPAs”) with Air Liquide Large Industries South Africa and Sasol South Africa with an aggregate capacity of 220MW of renewable energy to Sasol’s Secunda site, which is home to the world’s biggest oxygen production site being operated by Air Liquide.
The PPAs are an outcome of the RFP process launched jointly by Air Liquide and Sasol in April 2021 for the procurement of 900MW of renewable energy. The RFP process is the largest corporate effort in South Africa hitherto by Air Liquide and Sasol to procure renewable energy for their operations.
As part of our services, we have worked across multiple facets of the transaction supporting Enel Green Power in the negotiation and development phase of the project.
