This recognition is a testament to the project’s innovative structuring and its contribution to the advancement of water infrastructure in the region. The Jubail Buraydah IWTP features:
- Transmission capacity of 650,000 m³/day
- 587 kms of Pipeline Length
- The Project shall transport water from Jubail to Buraydah in Normal Operation but shall also allow for the Reverse-Flow Operation from Buraydah to Jubail.
These integrated components are designed to ensure sustainable and efficient water transport, supporting Saudi Arabia’s environmental sustainability goals under Vision 2030. The project is expected to reach commercial operation by Q2 2029 and will be operated under a 35-year
concession – a model that reflects the Kingdom’s continued commitment to public-private partnerships (PPP) in vital sectors.
