Synergy Consulting, Inc. is honored to have successfully advised Masen on the financial structuring of Noor Atlas Project (305 MW PV), a major milestone for Morocco’s renewable energy program.

A first for MASEN where the Agency showcased success in this program as a Procurer as well as a Developer.

The Noor Atlas program consists of six photovoltaic power plants with a total installed capacity of 305 MW, located across several regions of the Kingdom.

In an unprecedented and innovative structure, the Project is financed through a combination of concessional loans from KfW and the European Investment Bank, alongside commercial financing by Bank of Africa.

Noor Atlas Project constitutes the second phase of the “Photovoltaic Solar Program” led by Masen and Office national de l’électricité et de l’eau potable – Branche Électricité, affirming Morocco’s position as a major player in the energy transition on the African continent.
