Synergy Consulting Inc. is pleased to have supported the consortium of Miahona Company, Power and Water Utility Company for Jubail and Yanbu SJSC (“Marafiq’) and BESIX as the sole financial advisor to achieve the financial close of the Al-Haer Independent Sewage Treatment Plant (ISTP) project in Riyadh.
The plant will have a treatment capacity of 200,000 m3, complemented by a 32 km integrated treated sewage transmission system capable of transporting up to 400,000 m3 daily. Additionally, a pumping station and storage tanks with a capacity of
200,000 m3 will be constructed to enhance the efficient and sustainable utilization of treated sewage across various sectors.
The project marks a significant milestone in advancing Saudi Arabia’s environmental sustainability objectives under Vision 2030. The commercial operation of the project is scheduled in the fourth quarter of 2026, with the concession term of 25 years thereafter.
