Synergy has been engaged by Mancoraland S.A.C. to provide Financial Advisory services for the Marina Coast Perú, a landmark project for tourism, marina, and real estate development on Peru’s northern coast.
The Project:
Located on 262 hectares in Punta Sal, Tumbes — the coastline renowned for one of the best year-round climates in the world — Marina Coast Perú will feature the first world-class residential marina in South Pacific region, with total projected investment of US$350 Mn.
Marina Coast Perú is developed in alignment with World Bank’s Environmental, Social & Governance framework and the IFC Performance Standards on Environmental & Social Sustainability.
The Project will mobilize sustainable tourism, catalyze private investment, and generate significant direct / indirect employment in the Tumbes region, northern Perú.
The Development:
- Protected inland marina with approximately 300+ slips for vessels 35 ft to 120 ft (11–36 m), and an outer basin for superyachts up to 380 ft (116 m), full-service maintenance yard & travel lift
- Waterfront residences, single-family lots & yacht club
- Planned 100-room upscale hotel to be operated under an international flag — first for Peru’s northern beaches
- Water-ski lagoon, commercial zone, additional hospitality components
- Project’s private airport — Walter Braedt Segú Aerodrome, operational since 2020 — features a 1,750m (5,740 ft) runway capable of receiving private & business aircrafts, with capacity for expansion
The Sponsor:
Mancoraland S.A.C. is a joint venture between Grupo Bertello Segú and Grupo Braedt, two established Peruvian real estate groups, led by CEO José Luis Bertello Segú. Mr. Bruno Bellatin has partnered with Marina Coast to advance this transaction.
The sponsor group represents one of the most ambitious private tourism and real estate developments in Perú and on South America’s Pacific coast.
Synergy’s Role:
Synergy will advise Mancoraland on transaction structuring, equity raising, and project financing — bringing our global track record across infrastructure, energy, transport, and hospitality to one of Latin America’s most distinctive destination developments.
