Synergy Consulting Awarded Solar Deal of the Year – MENA 2025

Synergy Consulting, Inc. is honored and delighted to serve as the Lead and Financial Advisor to the Saudi Power Procurement Company (SPPC), KSA, for achieving Financial Close of the Al Masa’a & Al Henakiyah 2 Solar Plants — which has been recognized with the prestigious “Solar Deal of the Year” award by InfraGlobal.

The project includes development of the 1,000 MW Al Masa’a and the 400 MW Al Henakiyah 2 solar power parks. Once operational, both projects are expected to power more than 240 thousand homes per year and displace more than 2.7 million tons of carbon dioxide annually.

The project, set to be operational in 2027, is structured as a 25-year concession. This project is part of Round 5 of the National Renewable Energy Program (NREP) which is supervised by the Ministry of Energy aiming to achieve an optimal energy mix for electricity production by having gas and renewable energy at approximately 50% each by 2030 and reduce dependence on liquid fuels in electricity generation in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
