Saudi Water Partnership Company S.M.L.L.C (“SWPC”) has issued the Request for Proposal (“RFP”) to the pre-qualified Bidders for the development of Ras Mohaisen – Al Baha – Makkah IWTP, with a transmission capacity of 185,000 cubic meters per day, and length of approximately 300 km.

The Independent Water Transmission Pipeline Project will be a first-of-its-kind project in the Kingdom and the region wherein a stand-alone Water Transmission System for such considerable capacity and length is being procured on a PPP basis. Through the RFP process, SWPC intends to select a developer to develop the Project on a Build, Own, Operate, and Transfer (“BOOT”) basis. The project company developing the Project will provide the entire transmission capacity to SWPC under a Water Transmission Agreement (“WTA”).

Synergy is the lead and financial advisor for the Project, with Fichtner as the technical advisor and Amer Al Amr Law Firm as the legal adviser.
