Armenia Renewable Resources and Energy Efficient Fund tendered 200 MW PV solar project to be developed in Talin and Dashtadem areas of Armenia. The tender was part of the Joint Development Agreement signed between Masdar and Armenian National Interest Fund CJSC (ANIF) in November 2019.
Synergy provided Financial Advisory Services to the client for the tender, including preparation of the financial model, market sounding to devise optimal financing plan, assistance in formalization of financial and commercial strategy to optimize bid structure, assistance to Sponsors in marking up project documents and other related work streams.
Masdar was selected as the successful bidder on July 1st 2021. The Project is expected to be financed by international financial institutions and will be developed on a design, finance, own and operate basis.
