Synergy Consulting, Inc. is honored to serve as the Financial Advisor to Medical Concepts Consulting Management (Medconcepts, also known as MCCM) for the execution of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Bermuda to develop the Bermuda International Healthcare Centre at Morgan’s Point.
The MoU — signed on August 14th, 2025, at the Cabinet Office in Bermuda — marks a significant milestone in the island’s vision for healthcare and tourism.
Premier David Burt stated:
“It delivers on a platform promise to expand Bermuda’s tourism offering and establish a medical tourism sector.”
The Project, designed and led by MCCM’s world class team — which has worked on more than 300 international healthcare center projects in 30 countries — will integrate:
- A behavioral health center for intermediary stays.
- A medical hotel for patients and their families.
- A state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center for same-day advanced surgical care.

Mr. Lou Maroun confirmed that the first phase will represent an investment of up to US $400 million, with the possibility of an additional US $150 million for an associated seniors’ care facility.

~300 jobs during construction and ~275 full-time positions when operational
Expanded healthcare access for Bermudians, complementing the Bermuda Hospitals Board
Significant boost to the island’s medical tourism industry and global profile
