Synergy Consulting, Inc. is honored to provide support to the IPP Office’s focus on developing expertise in Project Finance and Procurement Processes. Synergy conducted the Capability Building Programme during the week of July 29, 2024, held at the IPP office in Centurion, South Africa.

The programme attendees included members from various teams within the IPP Office. The training session covered key topics such as the basics of project financing from the developer’s and lender’s perspective, key issues and risk analysis/allocations that impact the tariffs and affordability, and international practices followed in the procurement process. The primary purpose of the training programme was to enhance the capability of team members within the IPP office on project finance, which could be helpful in the implementation of the current and future projects of the IPP Office.
