The honorable President, Mr. Shavkat Mirziyoyev, kicks off the construction of a 1,560 MW thermal power Project in the Surkhandarya region of Uzbekistan. Stone City Energy is developing the Project and had signed the Power Purchase Agreement and Investment Agreement in last year in April. Stone City Energy is joined by EDF and Siemens Energy. The honorable President was joined by Mr. Christian Bruch, President of Siemens Energy, and Ms. Beatrice Buffon, Executive Director of EDF, during the ceremony held during the Tashkent International Investment Forum on March 24, 2022.
