Synergy Consulting, Inc., is honored to have acted as the Financial Advisory to the Zamil Group Investment Company and The Arab Energy Fund (TAEF) for te acquisition of Metito Utilities. TAEF and Zamil Group along with Ghandour Family acquired 100 % of the stake. This is a significant milestone for Zamil and TAEF in strengthening their regional strategy of advancing sustainable infrastructure, tackling water security challenges, driving innovative solutions, and fostering clean water access.

Metito Utilities, one of the largest players in the region’s water and wastewater sector, is a global investor, developer, and operator of sustainable water management solutions. The company has a presence across multiple geographies, including the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Sub-Saharan Africa and Central Asia.

Synergy provided a comprehensive suite of financial advisory services, including the preparation of a financial model for valuations, buy-side due diligence on Metito’s complete portfolio of assets, and the negotiation and finalization of the shareholders agreement and the sale and purchase agreement.
