Enel Green Power RSA (EGP RSA) has successfully achieved the financial close of 3 x 110 MW wind farms located in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa.
Synergy Consulting, Inc., acting as an exclusive Financial Advisor, is proud to have played a key role in advising EGP RSA in the Financial Close of these Wind Projects. This strategic partnership underscores a shared commitment to driving the future of sustainable energy.
The Wind Projects are set to be operational in 2026 and are under long-term Power Purchase Agreements with Sasol South Africa and Air Liquide Large Industries South Africa.
Enel Green Power will supply the electricity generated by these Wind Projects to Sasol’s site in Secunda where Air Liquide operates the world’s largest oxygen production facility.
The renewable energy projects promise not only to deliver clean and reliable energy but also bring a myriad of socio-economic benefits to the local communities, including job creation and skills development.
