developers build; and a creditworthy mining offtaker steps forward to anchor the demand.<\/p>\n<p>When a private client comes forward as the offtaker, the project can be financed on that contract rather than leaning on the sovereign balance sheet \u2014 easing pressure on already-stretched public finances.<\/p>\n<p>The African continent doesn&#8217;t lack renewable projects;
